GT4 15 Days Greek Islands and Turkiye Tour

A grand tour of some of the amazing sites of Greece and Turkey. Sightseeing and sandy beaches, archaeology, culture and extraordinary historical sites.

Arrival in Athens: Daily

From April to October except Wednesday

DAY 1: ATHENS

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel. The rest of the day is yours for relaxing or exploring. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 2: ATHENS / Half Day City Tour ( B )

We pick you up from your hotel for Morning sightseeing tour of Athens, including the visit to the Acropolis and its Museum. The rest of the day is yours for relaxing or exploring.Overnight in Athens.

DAY 3: ATHENS to MYKONOS ( B)

Breakfast at your hotel then you will be transferred to the port in order to embark the ferry to Mykonos. Upon your arrival on the island, transfer to your hotel and overnight in Mykonos.

DAY 4: MYKONOS ( B )

Breakfast at your hotel, day at leisure in Mykonos, enjoy the sun and the wonderful sandy beaches as well as the incredible night life. Overnight in Mykonos.

DAY 5: MYKONOS to SANTORINI ( B )

Breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the port in order to embark the ferry to Santorini. Upon your arrival on the island, transfer to your hotel and overnight in Santorini.

DAY 6: SANTORINI ( B )

Breakfast, day at leisure at this most photogenic island. Enjoy a half day cruise to the small islands of Nea Kameni & Palea Kameni located inside the caldera, the Hot Springs with the green and yellow waters (with free time for swimming) and the island of Thirassia. Overnight in Santorini.

DAY 7: SANTORINI to ISTANBUL ( B )

After breakfast you will be transferred to airport at the indicated time according to your departure flight. Flight to Istanbul via Athens, after arrival Istanbul Airport, We will pick you up from airport and transfer to hotel, free time and overnight in Istanbul.

Day 8: Istanbul-Half Day Bosphorus Tour ( B )

After having your breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up for a half day morning Bosphorus tour to have an unforgettable day. You will have a chance to see;

Spice Market, Golden Horn, City Walls, Bosphorus by Boat,

End of the tour transfer to your hotel and it will be your free afternoon to discover the charming beauty of old city on your own. Overnight in Istanbul

Day 9: Gallipoli Tour ( L )

Pick up at 06:30 - 07:00am from your hotel in Istanbul and depart for an afternoon tour of Gallipoli. The World War 1 battlefields of Gallipoli are now a serene site. Visit the Lone Pine- Australian Memorial, Chunuk Bair- New Zealand Memorial, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly, Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, Ariburnu Cemetery, 57 th Regiment-Turkish Memorial, The Nek and the Gallipoli Museum. End of the tour, you will take a ferry to Canakkale and overnight in the hotel.

Day 10: Troy And Pergamum Tour (B / L)

After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and join your group to visit Troy Ancient City. You will be surprised by the inventive Trojan Horse and your guide will show you over 10 ancient cities built one another, dating back to 3500 BC, passing through Apollo Temple, fortified city walls, battle field where Hector and Achilles fought for power, Roman theater, Greco-Roman Senate building roundly shaped that hosted deputies of democracy. After lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant we will drive on for 4 hours then visit splendid Pergamum, ancient city founded on the top of the hill with its steepest theater of the world, temples and wonderful Zeus Altar which is exhibited in Berlin Museum. Then you will visit the first constructed hospital in Asclepion, city of health. We will drive to Kusadasi about 4 hours and overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 11: Kusadası - Ephesus Tour (B / L)

After breakfast you start full day tour of Ephesus with your guide. You will start your visit with one of the seven wonders of ancient world; Artemis Temple, city ruins of Ephesus as Hadrian Temple, Celcius library, theater, bathrooms, passing through old harbour path. Then you will visit Isabey Mosque. You will have your lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant.

In the afternoon you will visit House of Virgin Mary where legend says she spent last years of her life.

End of the tour transfer to your hotel and overnight in Kusadası.

Day 12: Kusadası - Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour (B / L)

After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel and join for full day tour of Pamukkale which has always been a very popular settlement with the hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate, minerals left by the flowing water with its temperate climate for most of the year.

We will also visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The hot springs there have been used as a spa and people come here for their ailments cure, the large Necropolis is filled with sarcophagi, including the Sarcophagus of Marcus Aurelius. You will have a chance to see Cleopatra Baths. The tour finishes at 16:00 then free time to explore the town on your own.

Late in the evening, you will take an overnight bus to Cappadocia which will take about ten hours by comfortable, nonsmoking, airconditioned busses.

Day 13: Northern Cappadocia Tour (L)

Arrive in Cappadocia in the morning then you will be transferred to our local office and start your tour of Northern Cappadocia. We then visit the biggest monastic complex of Goreme Open Air Museum with its astonishing rock-hewn architecture and vibrant frescoes, the lunar landscape of Devrent Valley where you have the impression that animals are petrified in the rocks, the lovely town of Avanos and walk along Red River which runs through the town. Pasabag Valley, which has some of the most stunning fairy chimneys with mushroom like formed rocks in Cappadocia. Cavusin, one of the ancient settlement of the region with its cave houses and Urgup's fairy chimneys.

Overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 14: Southern Cappadocia Tour (B / L)

Optional balloon tour available.

Breakfast at your hotel then departure for your full day guided tour of Southern Cappadocia begins with Pigeon Valley, where you see thousands of pigeon houses lining the steep cliffs. A visit to one of the extraordinary underground cities Derinkuyu. At Selime Village you will be astonished by the beautiful churches carved out of the volcanic rocks. Visit Ihlara Valley, the most beautiful green valley in Cappadocia. At the end of your tour we transfer you to airport for a flight to Istanbul. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 15: Istanbul ( B )

After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say good bye to our new friends and according to your international flight we transfer you to airport and wish you a pleasant flight..
