A refreshing trip from Istanbul: magnificent mountains views, verdant woodlands and limpid lake waters.

We will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast then driven to Bolu, enjoying magnificent mountains views, verdant woodlands and clear lake waters. After taking in a panoramic view from Mount Bolu, enjoy lunch at lovely restaurant with spectacular views of Lake Abant.

Abant Lake is only 200 km from Istanbul. Its is 1300 meters above sea level. Every season it has its own beauty and alternative trips. Abant Lake is one of the most favorite destinations for summer and winter activities. Abant lake and forests have great view and creates a fascinating image from all aspects.

Abant lake surrounded by dense pine forests and it is a fresh water lake and it is an ideal place for people who want to escape the bustle of the city and the stress of the daily grind. The lake Abant has an area of 1.28 square kilometres and its lowest point is 18 m.

Some of the activities around Abant Lake are sledding, horse riding, bicycle, horse cart tours and skiing with inflatable boats. In case of any demand we can also visit Golcuk lake which is another small lake in the region but smaller than Abant lake.

Abant lake, in summer season, is really rich for plants life with wild fruit trees, flowers and water lilies. If you like fishing there is small fee for fishing. The forests around the lake offer an ideal habitat for deer, and special wildlife. Black Pine trees, Scots pine trees, oak trees, willow trees, hazelnuts and strawberry trees are among the tree species which compose the lake's forests.

Sapanca Lake : is a fresh water lake in Turkey, between the Gulf of Izmit and the Adapazarı Meadow. The lake has a catchment area of 251 km², surface area is 45 km², a length 16 km east-west / 5 km north-south, and a maximum depth of 52 m. Lake Sapanca, Turkey Sapanca Lake is located on a tectonic hole, which is situated between Izmit Bay and Adapazari Meadow and runs parallel to Iznik Lake.The catchment area of Lake Sapanca - about 251 sq. km [km²] - is surrounded by mountains in the south and small hills in the north. Water is taken from the Lake for domestic and industrial needs.

End of the tour we drive back to Istanbul and transfer you to your hotel.
