5 Days Istanbul Tour
Tour the historical peninsula of Istanbul, cruise down the Bosphorus and sail out to the green calm of the Princes' Islands.
Day 1- Istanbul
After arrival Istanbul Airport, ee will pick you up from airport and transfer to hotel, free time and Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2- Istanbul –Walking City Tour ( B / L )
After breakfast we will pick you up from hotel and start a full day guided tour of old city in historical peninsula beginning with great museum Hagia Sophia, one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian.
Blue Mosque, facing Hagia Sophia, famous for its magnificent blue Iznik tiles and six unique minaretes, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet.
Hippodrome, center of sportive (chariot races, athletics) events and political activities of the old city. Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column, German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating Hippodrome.
Topkapı Palace, residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting imperial treasury, sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed, kitchen, Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy section etc. Feel yourself as a ruler of 15 th century. (Harem is not included in the program)
Rustem Pasha Mosque, designed by the court architect Sinan for the Grand Vizier of Suleyman The Magnificent. A typical sample of Islamic architecture amidst the rows of shops near the Spice Bazaar, famed with its exquisite and colorful tiles set in floral and geometric designs.
Grand Covered Bazaar, most attractive shopping and trade center of Istanbul and biggest "souk" in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leatherware and souvenirs.
End of the tour transfer to your hotel.
Day 3- Istanbul-Bosphorus Cruise & Two Continents Tour (B/L)
Breakfast at your hotel then we pick you up from your hotel and begin with a brief visit to City Walls which are surrounding the whole part of the old city since 5 th Century.
Golden Horn, the arm of the Bosphorus and a natural harbour of the historical peninsula separating the old and the new parts of Istanbul where the first colonies settled during the Byzantines.
Spice Bazaar, mystical smells of different aromas of various spices. Shops selling fruits, vegetables, fish, flowers, souveniers etc. It is known as Egyptian Bazaar too.
Bosphorus Cruise, through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, small fishing villages, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residentials and luxurious apartments. During the excursion you will pass the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, imperial pavillions of Yildiz Palace, Ciragan Palace, and Ortakoy which is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a synagogue existing side by side for centuries.
Rumeli Fortress (from the boat – no interior visit), historical armament built by the Conqueror to control and protect the Bosphorus. A unique example of military architecture.
Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer residence of Ottoman Sultans with its original furnitures and magnificent gardens with the Harem on Asian Side.
Bosphorus Bridge, unique chance to step from one continent (Europe) to another (Asia) in a day.
Camlıca Hill, panoramic view of Istanbul and Bosphorus from one of the highest and most appealing place of the city. You may rest and admire the magnificent panoramic view of Istanbul and the Bosphorus by having a cup of coffee in here.
At the end of the tour we take you back to your hotel and Overnight in Istanbul.
Closed:Beylerbeyi Palace on Monday and Thursday replaced with Chora Museum.
Rumeli Fortress on Wednesday.
Spice Bazaar on Sunday replaced with Golden Horn.
Day 4- Istanbul- Princes’ Islands Tour ( B / L )
If you find yourself feeling the need to escape from the bustle of Istanbul for a day, the Princes' Island Tour would be the best. You will join us aboard a ferry bound for the idylic Princes' Island, enjoying cool breezes and charming sights along the way. Our destination is Buyukada, the largest of the island chain, it was a site of exciled palace members, particularly in the Byzantine era, the popular summer resort with pinewood scenery and wooden mansions, once the pleasure island of Byzantine Princes.
You will have your lunch at a nice fish restaurant in the island.
There you can enjoy a ride in a horsedrawn carriage among the pine trees after relaxing on the beaches in the numerous coves of its coast. Evening return to Istanbul and transfer to hotels.
Day 5- Istanbul ( B )
After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say good bye to our new friends and according to your international flight we transfer you to airport and say '' have a good flight ''.
