4 Days Black Sea Trabzon Tour

Enjoy the naturel and historical beauties of the tea-plantations of Rize, the lush green Ayder Plateau, Trabzon and more.

Day 1: Istanbul to Trabzon - Sumela Monastery and Karaca Cave

Early morning , we pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul, transfer to airport, flight to Trabzon, We meet our valuable guests at Trabzon airport. We set out to explore the green region of the Black Sea without delay. We visit Sumela Monastery, which was built centuries ago on the outskirts of Karadag and located in Altindere National Park. After visiting of Monastery, we begin to the journey of Zigana Mountain.

We visit Karaca Cave, which is in the province of Torul belonging to Gumushane offering a visual recital to its visitors with its stalactites and stalagmites. Then we give some time for your shopping local products. We reach to the hometown of rice-pudding Hamsikoy passing through Zigana Pass, which has two different climates on both sides and following historical Iran Transit Road.You can taste the rice-pudding in this pretty village, drinking tea at rural coffee house. The tour finishes at about 18.00 then transfer to your hotel, Overnight in Trabzon.

Day 2: Uzungol Tour ( B )

Breakfast at the hotel then at about 10:00 we set on our way and our first stop will be the local knife artisans in Surmene. Then we visit tea factory in Rize and Trabzon, the hometown of tea-growing in Turkey, the outskirts of the mountains you see from miles away, all covered with best quality tea groves. We listen to masters of tea collected from tea gardens and coming to our tables. Later we visit horse farm in Caykara. Then we reach to Uzungol. It is a really fabulous place to be seen. Firstly we see waterfalls and then give free time. We go to Karastel Plateu to photo Uzungol from the top of the hill and free time. We return to the hotel, overnight İn Trabzon.

Day 3: Ayder Tour ( B )

After breakfast we drive to the hometown of tea, Ayder Plateau. On our way to Rize, we visit the workshop where the local hand made fabrics are woven. We arrive to Firtina Stream following tea gardens along Blacksea Coast and watching rafting activities there. You can experience excitement of zip-line.

We will spend some time at Firtina Valley and then we will visit Palovit Waterfall, Camlihemsin-Senyuvam Village, in which some tv series were filmed mainly in this area. We arrive to Ayder Plateau at the end and make a small trip by our vehicles at the last point of plateu. It will be your free time in Ayder, take plenty of pictures and do some trekking. At the end of the day we will drive back to Trabzon and overnight.

Day 4: Trabzon to Istanbul ( B )

We move to the center of Trabzon at 10:00 after the breakfast at hotel. We will visit Ataturk Pavilion and then Lake Sera to enjoy the naturel and historical beauties of Trabzon. Then we visit Hagia Sophia Mosque and Museum then we visit Gulbahar Hatun Mosque, Trabzon Museum and drive to Boztepe Hill for panoramic view of Trabzon. It finishes at about 17.00 then we drop you to Trabzon Airport, flight to Istanbul, arrival and transfer to your hotel in Istanbul.
