Visit the extraordinary landscape and rock-hewn churches in Cappadocia, then the mystical beauty of Konya

Day 1 - Istanbul to Cappadocia North Tour ( L )   

Early morning pick up from your Istanbul hotel at about 4.00 am and transfer to airport, take a flight to Cappadocia, upon arrival Cappadocia transfer to our local agency and start a full day guided tour of Northern Cappadocia. We then visit the monastic complex of Goreme Open Air Museum with its astonishing rock-hewn architecture and vibrant frescoes; Uchisar Castle, the highest point of the rocky region; the lunar landscape of Devrent  Valley; the pretty town of Avanos, famous for its pottery and painted tiles in Turkey; Pasabag Valley, which has some of the most stunning fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, Cavusin, an old Christian village and Urgup's fairy chimneys. End of the tour transfer to hotel and overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 2  - South Cappadocia   ( B / L ) 

After breakfast at your hotel departure for your full day guided tour of Southern Cappadocia beginning at Pigeon Valley, where you see thousands of pigeon houses lining the  steep cliffs. A visit to one of the extraordinary underground cities Derinkuyu. At Selime Village you will be astonished by the beautiful  churches carved out of the volcanic rocks. Visit Ihlara  Valley, the most  beautiful valley in Cappadocia. At the end of the day, you will take a bus to Konya that will take about four hours, after arrive in Konya transfer to hotel and overnight in Konya. 

Day 3 - Konya ( B )

Breakfast at your hotel and it will be your free day on your own. You may visit the tomb of great philosopher Mevlana Jalaleddin Rumi and and try to discover the enchanting beauty of Mevlana Museum then walk through the old bazaar of Konya visiting these beautiful boutique shops selling spices, souvenirs, hand woven Turkish carpets, traditional clothes, then have a cup of tea at Alaeddin Hill and visit Alaeddin Mosque.

Late in the afternoon, transfer to airport for a flight to Istanbul, arrival and transfer to your hotel in Istanbul.
