Day 1: Istanbul
After arrival Istanbul Airport, we will pick you up from airport and transfer to hotel, free time and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2: Istanbul-Half Day Bosphorus Tour ( B )
After having your breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up for a half day morning Bosphorus tour to have an unforgettable day. You will have a chance to see;
Spice Market, an exotic, oriental atmospheric covered bazaar that is full of with good quality food products and souvenirs.
Golden Horn, a natural harbour that makes the city very important, separates the old city from the new city.
City Walls, the whole part of the old city has been surrounded by these admirable city walls since the fifth century.
Bosphorus by Boat, the boat tour is done between two continents, full of the most expensive pavillions and palaces.
Day 3: Istanbul- Daily Bursa Tour ( B )
Breakfast at your hotel then you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the pier for ferry to Bursa. While enjoying the lovely countryside view, we will drive to Bursa, the first capital city of Ottomans where the Ottoman Empire was first started. Walk through its old markets, climb to the Uludag, the legendary mount of Grek Gods, Olympos, by cable car. Visit Ulu cami, ( Grand Mosque ), Green Mosque, Green Tomb, The Old Silk Market. See the high quality of silk scarves in here. See the real life of Turkish people in the region.
End of the day overnight in Bursa.
Day 4: Bursa– Abant Lake – Safranbolu ( B )
After breakfast at your hotel in Bursa,we will depart for Lake Abant. Abant is most probably the most famous lake in Turkey. The lake is at the end of a 22 km drive. The seven kilometer walk around the lake offers a great opportunity to enjoy the area. Those who don’t wish to walk can ride horseback or complete the tour on a horse cart. Abant lake is surrounded with pine trees. Its deepest point is 45 meters. The countryside is pleasantly different in each season. Water lilies embellish the surface in summer. Late in the afternoon we will depart for Safranbolu which was an important caravan station on the main East-West trade route. The old mosque, the old bath house and Suleyman Pasha Medresesi are the important places to be seen. Safranbolu’s famous architecture influenced urban development throughout much of the Ottoman Empire. On arrival we will walk through the historical Safranbolu Bazaar and visit the town, overnight in Safranbolu.
Day 5: Safranbolu – Amasya ( B )
After breakfast we will drive to Amasya which will take about four hours. Amasya is one of the cities which has both natural and historical values. It is located in a narrow cleft of the Yesilirmak river, it has a history of 3000 years that many civilizations left priceless remains of their times. The ruins of the citadel on the rock face of the cleft shelters 2000 year old water-channels, 1000 year old bridges, an ancient mental hospital, an Ottoman Palace and a secret underground passageway. Overnight in Amasya.
Day 6: Amasya – Trabzon ( B )
After breakfast at your hotel we will depart for Trabzon. We will drive about five hours to reach to Trabzon by passing through mountains, forests, hills, rivers. You will admire to the different colours of the trees in here. Overnight in Trabzon.
Day 7: Trabzon- City Tour ( B )
Breakfast at the hotel then depart for St. Sophia Church/Mosque, a 13th century church and see its extraordinary collections of Byzantine frescoes, depart for Gulbahar Hatun Mosque, Castle and Ataturk’s Mansion (a picturesque hillside retreat), visit Ortahisar Mosque (a Comneni cathedral in the old town). Afternoon we explore the cobbled stone streets of Trabzon. Drive to Boztepe; enjoy our tea from samovar with the panoramic view of the city. We will visit Lake Sera then back to your hotel, overnight in Trabzon.
Day 8: Trabzon-Sumela Monestary–Zigana–Karaca Cave ( B )
Breakfast then depart for Sumela Monastery, we will visit the 4th century Sumela Monastery which clings to a sheer cliff face in a forest, relax beside a flowing stream at Altindere Valley National Park, we will drive along the Silk Road through the Zigana Mountains which will take us to Karaca Cave , considered to be the most beautiful cave in Turkey for its colors and formations. End of the day overnight in Trabzon.
Day 9: Ayder Tour ( B )
We pick you up from your hotel at about 09:00am, the first stop on the tour will be Surmene; famous for handmade knives. Next, we will see how fabrics are woven in tradational looms, we will visit the tea groves at Ziraat Botanic Garden in Rize.
After stopping for a tea break near the historical old Ottoman Stone Bridge in Firtina Valley, we continue to the unique waterfalls situated at the summit of the Ayder highland. Enjoy your lunch and it’s free time in here to discover the Ayder highland. Enjoy your day by sitting on the grass and admiring the mountains full of trees, breathe the forest scents, taste the local foods being cooked over the traditional stoves of the local restaurants. End of the day drive back to Trabzon by watching all the lush greenery of Black Sea, arrival and transfer to your hotel in Trabzon.
Day 10: Uzungol Tour ( B )
We pick you up from your hotel at about 10:00am and drive to Uzungol , we will be visiting a horse farm and tea factory on our way to Uzungol. It was declared as a Nature Park due to its rich flora, stunning wildlife and outstanding natural beauty. Everywhere is covered with spruce trees, an impressive array of wildlife exists with species such as roe deer, wild boar, bear, badger, lynx, birds of prey, and trout as well as various kinds of reptiles.
End of the tour transfer to airport and flight to Istanbul, arrival and transfer to your hotel,overnight in Istanbul.
Day 11: Istanbul ( B )
After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say good bye to our new friends and according to your international flight we transfer you to airport and wish you a good flight .
